Inspired by the Tasmanian landscape I have recently taken to the brushes.
As part of Tassie’s rural community, I have now committed to capturing my responses to the ever-changing moods and expressions of the environment I live and work in.
My practice is evolving through exploration of a lyrical painterly technique to capture my responses to the ever-changing landscape.
I am fascinated with exploring the interaction of how the permanence of landform is revealed by the ephemeral and dynamic interplay with light, clouds and water.
My endeavour is to capture the energy driving these transformational changes with a visceral and expressionistic approach.
